President - Eve Powell "Evie" is a graduate CS student at UNC-Charlotte with a concentration on Game Design. Vice President - Hunter Hale Hunter originally earned his BS at Western Carolina University, where he also encountered his first taste of game development working on an RTS engine for his senior project. He started work in UNCC's Visualization Lab on the Virtual Charlotte project. He is now working in the Games+Learning Lab and has a particularly keen interest in shader programming and texture design. Secretary - Dwaine Hewitt Dwaine, aka Dwainie, lead the team "Nuclear Gecko" in last years Game Design class. Their game "Sudden Drop" was teh awesome. Dwaine is also a current member of the Game2Learn team. When Dwainie isn't making games, he spends his time tarot card reading and playing croquet, usually at the same time. Treasurer - Christina Richardson Christina, is unofficially the Game Lab Artist, and is in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Graphic Design. Christina was lead artist on the game Bunny Soccer and has made many artistic donations to game2Learn games Squee and Saving Sera. As a hobby, Evie and Christina tend to work on game ideas together, usually in Flash or XNA. Chistina designed the original website that I have swiped content for for this one. She loves bunnies. His recent game, Snake Look-alike, is a big hit in the Game Lab. His hobbies include ballet and alchemy. When Henry grows up, he plans to be a veterinarian and archeologist... both of them. Press Secretary - Amanda Chaffin A Master's student who particularly enjoys game and level design, Amanda currently works for Dr. Barnes on the Game2Learn project as a part of her master's thesis.
